This years fall outing will be held on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, October 11, 12 & 13th.  We will be going to Gerry Olson's cabin in the Iron River area.  There is plenty of room to sleep on the floor , couches, and camper trailer (yes, it has heat), just bring your sleeping bag and pillow. If you prefer to bring your own tent or camper there will be room for that also. The plan is still up in the air, but if you arrive on Friday, plan on a cookout and sauna. Saturday will be the big ride day, starting in the Iron River area in the morning, then back to the cabin for lunch. After lunch, down to the Cable area for some great single track. Back to the cabin for dinner, sauna and socializing Saturday evening. Sunday morning, maybe some easy rides around Iron River trails. This plan is still in flux, subject to change upon the whims of those that show up. The main course on Saturday night will be provided by COGGS but it's pot luck for the rest so please bring appetizers, salads, desserts, chips etc.
If you plan on attending, please call the COGGS (715) 398-0588 hotline and give an indication of how many people and how many nights so there will be some kind of idea for attendance. Feel free to come even if you forget to call.
Directions:
From Superior, take US Hwy 2 East to Brule, continue on US Hwy 2 another 5 miles past Brule to Crystal Lake Road on your right. If you get to Iron River you went 3 miles too far. Turn right on Crystal Lake Road and stay to the right (take the Dead End, No Outlet fork). Look for the large green pole barn and the COGGS banner.
