COGGS board meeting 4/13/10 at Thirsty Pagan, Superior, WI; meeting summary minutes.

 

Board members present: Bill Schwalbe, Mike Miller, Adam Sundberg, Matthew Evingson, Andrea Grygo

 

Meeting called to order at 7:04 pm by A Sundberg

Treasurer’s Report

Checking $10728.25 , Savings $2700.81

 

1. Mont du Lac update
• Trail in good shape, much work done by MDL staff, some bench cuts to be done
• Bench cut to be completed and then potential ride after
• Plot course through plots in May
2. Continental Bike Swap
• 4 COGGS volunteers Sat, 1 Sunday
3. IRS update for 501 (c) (3) status
• IRS request for information; Adam completing this week
4. Member/donation envelopes
• Print envelopes similar to Copper Harbor for memberships; locate weather-proof box at trailheads (Piedmont, Hartley, Lester, Pokegama)
• Motion to purchase envelopes up to $250 A Sundberg, M Evingson second, approved
5. COGGS schwag for 2010:  6” socks $7.05 per pair
6. Jim Schoberg attending Trail Master Course May 11-14 in LaCrosse, WI June 24-27^th in Ladysmith
7. Post job for workforce supervisor late April, hire in May, start in June
• Lester, Brewer, Spirit project order for summer
8. Hartley trail days; one at the beginning of May that will be a small re-route, National Trails Day tunnel trail re-route
